Pori Entrepreneurship Society supports people from the Satakunta region in networking, learning, developing business thinking, and realizing ideas into ventures.
About the association
Founded in 2020, we currently have a 5-member board and ≈50 association members.
The association is operated on a voluntary basis, and through forming strategic partnerships with other businesses and organizations within Finland and abroad.
Our turnover is ≈20 000 euros between 2020-2024, invested in the hosting of educational events, networking facilitation, and hackathons.
Our goal is sustainable growth, building meaningful networks, and the continuous improvement of the Satakunta region as an environment of possibilities and cooperation.
Target audiences are locals and internationals, looking to learn about different career possibilities, idea development, as well as a safe environment to gain and test skills.
All of our mentoring, educational resources and events are free for members and open for visitors.
We are able to provide guidance in English, Finnish, Russian, Bulgarian, Hindi and Lithuanian.

A dynamic leader in Research and Development, with expertise in regional development, digitalization, gamification and an overview of the game dev industry, while holding a strong foundation in Healthcare as a Physiotherapist and an Esports Physical performance coach at GetGood.me.

Lauri Tuumi is the Vice Chairman, co-founder and Technical director of Pori Entrepreneurship society ry.
He’s an expert in the IT sector, with experience in information systems, as well as in developing with Angular/React and NodeJS.

Md Sarwar is an experienced accounting and finance professional with a robust educational and professional background.
Before moving to Finland, Md Sarwar worked as an Accountant for a large group of industries in Bangladesh. In this role, he gained extensive experience in managing financial operations, conducting audits, and providing strategic advisory services to drive organizational growth.
Viktoriia Konovalova is the Marketing Manager of Pori Entrepreneurship society ry.
She is an expert in Digital marketing, Brand Building and Awareness.
Her professional experience includes also recruitment, budgeting, negotiations and entrepreneurial coaching.
Currently completing her second degree in International Business at SAMK.

Taslima Taznur is the Secretary of the Board. She is an expert in ethical tourism and sustainable destination branding.
Before moving to Finland, Taznur gained practical research experience in Bangladesh from social and economic development. Her expertise includes both qualitative and quantitative research and strategic policy making.

Maithri Palicha is an expert in entrepreneurship, freelancing and small business ownership, (owner of Findiasta) with a unique blend of graphic design and CAD skills.
Matthew Bowen is an expert in international networking and community building with extensive experience in event management and public speaking.
Through his work with International Professionals Finland ry, Mastering Finland Podcast, Porin Nuorkauppakamari ry (JCI Pori) and International House Pori, he has successfully fostered international communities and organized impactful events. His expertise spans technical documentation, customer service, media content creation, and educational support.
