Combining tech and arts into an entrepreneurial journey
Introduction: Early Interests and Background
Everything begins in childhood, and for me, it started with a love for the arts, nurtured through movies, books, visual art, and, most importantly, video games. As a teenager growing up in the 2010s, I witnessed the rapid advancements in science and technology shaping the world we live in today. This sparked a deep curiosity and passion for innovation.
I always wanted to contribute and build something significant and recognizable. My first step in that direction came in the form of creating my own video game—a project that laid the foundation for my journey into entrepreneurship.
Transition into Entrepreneurship
During high school, my friend and I embarked on the ambitious journey of building our own video game, Soulless: Ray of Hope. Those were sleepless nights filled with constant creative and technical challenges. I quickly learned that starting a project is easy, but finishing it and making it shippable is one of the hardest things to do.
The process of creating Soulless: Ray of Hope introduced me to a vast network of business professionals and artists, opening doors to countless opportunities and leading us to open our first company - Frisky Fatal. On a personal level, I discovered the profound fulfillment that comes from creating something that resonates with others. Seeing reviews from people worldwide, whom I would likely never meet, expressing their enjoyment of our game made all the effort worthwhile.
Building the Business
My next step was founding Marble IT, a gaming and IT company that creates games and software for clients worldwide. Starting this company at age 20 meant I was still finding my place in the world, which gave me the freedom to shape my vision as I grew. What started as a small venture has grown into a thriving business, offering creative and technical solutions to some of the most exciting challenges in the industry.
Personal Growth and Learning
Six years later, after hundreds of projects, business relationships, and team members - I’ve learned countless lessons. Here are a few that stand out:
Plan → Execute → Reflect → Improve: Follow this cycle relentlessly to grow consistently.
Seek Mentorship: When you're inexperienced, mentors are invaluable. They can be people next to you or can be found in books. Learning from others’ mistakes saves you time and accelerates growth.
Patience in Tough Times: Challenges will come, and it’s okay not to have immediate solutions. What matters is observing, learning, and continuing to be more innovative and more robust than before.
Managing Stress: Stress is inevitable in this journey, but resilience is critical. Reducing stress, ensuring quality sleep, and maintaining a fulfilling life are crucial for personal and business success.
The Truth About Success: Despite the stories of "overnight success," success demands time, patience, hard work, and endurance. Failure isn’t just inevitable—it’s necessary and valuable for growth.
